Lead AI Engineer

About the Role

Join a small, fast-moving team building AI-powered contract intelligence for enterprise users. In this hands-on lead role, you will help shape the technical direction and develop a user-facing application that applies AI to complex contract workflows.

What You'll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end features across back-end and front-end systems.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design partners to deliver useful AI-powered capabilities.

• Drive technical projects, engineering practices, and the team's technical roadmap.

• Help define and implement measures of success for the team's work.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including 3+ years building SaaS products.

• Strong production engineering experience and the ability to contribute across a small team.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using PostgreSQL or another relational database.

• Experience building AI applications or agents with frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.

• Experience working with OpenAI or Anthropic models; model training and LLM monitoring experience are useful.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, or another modern front-end framework, plus strong computer science fundamentals and a CS degree.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range is $175,000 to $250,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
