We’re looking for an AI Product Engineer to join a fast-moving healthcare AI team building the technical foundation of an agentic clinical AI platform.

Candidates with a strong ML research background but without hands-on product engineering experience are not a fit for this role.

This role is ideal for a product-minded full-stack engineer who enjoys working across applied AI, backend systems, LLMs, and user-facing product experiences and wants to build AI systems that solve complex, real-world clinical workflows.

💰 Salary: $220K – $245K + Competitive Equity

🔍 WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build and evolve an agentic clinical AI platform, including context management, tool use, orchestration, permissions, memory, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

• Rapidly prototype new clinical AI experiences and transform promising concepts into production-quality software used by real clinicians.

• Design AI evaluations, regression suites, and launch criteria to measure task success, clinical quality, reliability, safety, latency, and cost.

• Build robust observability infrastructure across model behavior, tool calls, traces, errors, and end-to-end workflow outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with clinicians, product leaders, and engineers to translate complex clinical workflows into reliable and trustworthy software.

• Own meaningful product capabilities from early prototype through production, helping shape the architecture and user experience of the platform.

🛠️ REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

✅ Python

✅ TypeScript

✅ LLMs / Large Language Models

✅ Agentic AI frameworks

✅ RAG / Retrieval Systems

✅ APIs & Backend Services

✅ Production experience with tool calling, orchestration, and context management

✅ Experience building LLM evaluations, regression testing, or AI observability tooling

🎯 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of product engineering experience with a focus on LLM-based systems

• Proven experience building agentic or LLM systems in production

• Experience working within healthcare or another highly regulated domain

• Experience conceptualizing, architecting, and building a product end-to-end

• Strong understanding of AI system reliability, evaluation, observability, and production deployment

• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
