Job Description

Overview

The Lead Architect will be responsible for the architectural planning, design coordination, and delivery of advanced technology and industrial facilities, with a particular focus on semiconductor manufacturing plants, cleanrooms, and high-tech facilities. Working closely with Project Managers, Process, Mechanical, HVAC, Civil & Structural, Electrical, and Construction teams, the Lead Architect will ensure that architectural solutions support operational requirements, regulatory compliance, constructability, and project objectives.

The role will support projects across all phases, including feasibility studies, concept design, basic design, detailed design, construction support, commissioning, and project closeout. The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership while ensuring seamless integration of cleanroom, production, utility, and support facility requirements.

Your role

· Lead and deliver architectural design packages for semiconductor, cleanroom, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

· Develop architectural concepts, space planning strategies, building layouts, and design standards that support operational and process requirements.

· Coordinate closely with Process, HVAC, Mechanical, Civil & Structural, and Electrical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

· Lead design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination workshops.

· Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical design reports.

· Review cleanroom layouts, zoning strategies to ensure compliance with client and industry requirements.

· Support planning submissions, authority approvals, permitting activities, and regulatory compliance requirements.

· Manage architectural interfaces with equipment vendors, contractors, and specialist consultants.

· Participate in constructability reviews and provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.

· Ensure designs comply with local building regulations, fire and life safety codes, accessibility requirements, and client standards.

· Mentor and provide technical guidance to architects and designers within the project team.

About you

Required Skills

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

· Professional registration or chartered status preferred.

· Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project delivery.

· Proven experience leading semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, data center, or other high-tech facility projects.

· Strong understanding of cleanroom planning principles, operational workflows, and facility integration requirements.

· Experience working within multidisciplinary EPCM/EPC project environments.

· Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and architectural design software.

· Strong understanding of building codes, fire life safety requirements, and regulatory approval processes.

· Excellent communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Employment Type

· 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (Subject to Extension).
