Lead SAP Security Consultant
Location: Federal Way, WA
Job Responsibilities:
Markgraf Consulting is hiring an SAP Security Consultant whose primary duty will be to help our customers secure their SAP environments. An ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- 11+ years of experience focused on SAP Security
- Lead and manage SAP security projects, including security assessments, compliance audits, and implementation of security controls
- Provide technical guidance and support to other SAP security consultants
- Develop and implement SAP security policies, procedures, and standards
- Administer and maintain user accounts, roles, and authorizations in SAP systems
- Monitor and control user access to SAP systems and applications
- Perform security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and industry standards
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and mitigate security risks and threats
- Participate in project planning and implementation to ensure security requirements are met
- Stay up-to-date with emerging SAP security trends, threats, and technologies
- Communicate security risks and issues to management and other stakeholders
Role Requirements
You should have the following technical skills/experience:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in SAP security administration or consulting
- Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, including user administration, authorization concepts, and role management
- Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver technology stack and related security components
- Experience with SAP security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk management
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to SAP security, such as SOX, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
- Ability to lead and manage projects and teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership of SAP S/4 HANA Migrations or Implementations
- SAP HANA authorization experience required
- SAP GRC mastery
- SAP Fiori, S/4 HANA hands-on authorizations experience
Relocation will be provided. This is an on-site job and may require up to 100% travel.
