Role: Full-time faculty position for a Cardiac/Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care.
Responsibilities: Provide high-acuity cardiac and liver transplant anesthesia, teach senior residents one-on-one, contribute to didactics, faculty development, and scholarly activities. Join an expanding team serving a Level I Trauma Center, participating in a growing transplant program with a focus on clinical excellence and education.
Qualifications & Skills: Expertise in cardiac and liver transplant anesthesia, ability to teach residents, and participate in scholarly work. Competitive compensation based on rank, with additional variable pay, structured call, and academic time. Support for immigration and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, retirement, and vacation allowances.
Key Duties: Manage a focused case mix (~25 cardiac and ~45 liver transplants annually), contribute to service growth, and participate in optional shifts for extra earnings. Faculty members are not required to cover both services simultaneously and have predictable schedules with call premiums. Opportunities for professional development and long-term growth are integral to the role.
