Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Lobby Ambassador Intern to join an international branded resort on The Palm, Dubai. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring hospitality professional to gain practical experience in a luxury resort environment while learning international hospitality standards and guest service practices.

The successful candidate will assist the Guest Relations and Front Office teams in creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing helpful information, and ensuring guests receive a positive first impression throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude upon arrival.
• Assist guests with general enquiries and provide information about the resort's facilities, restaurants, and services.
• Support the Guest Relations and Front Office teams with daily operations.
• Assist guests with directions within the resort and guide them to the appropriate departments.
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and presentable hotel lobby.
• Observe guest needs and promptly communicate requests to the relevant hotel departments.
• Assist with guest arrivals, departures, and VIP arrangements under the supervision of senior team members.
• Support the team in handling guest feedback and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain professional grooming and adhere to the resort's brand standards.
• Participate in departmental training sessions and learn standard operating procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or department head.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in hospitality, tourism, or hotel management.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly personality with a positive, helpful, and professional attitude.
• Well-groomed, presentable, and confident when interacting with guests.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a multicultural team.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Additional language skills, particularly German, Spanish, Chinese, or French, are an advantage.
