Localization Design Lead (2D and Video Assets)

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON​

What you will focus on

The Localization Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, quality, delivery, and performance of the Digital Assets Localization Team, including both 2D and Video. This role ensures the effective localization, adaptation, and delivery of promotional assets across multiple markets while ensuring team development, process improvements, and operational excellence.

What it means on a daily basis

• Own the pipeline: Plan, prioritize, and assign incoming localization requests, keeping every project on track, on time, on quality, and on brand.
• Drive quality across every asset: QA localized, resized, and adapted 2D and video assets before they go live – from store screenshots and app previews to user acquisition creatives, trailers, and cross-promo materials.
• Be the bridge: Serve as the go-to link between the Localization Team and internal stakeholders, aligning priorities and keeping communication clear and effective.
• Lead and grow your team: Coach, mentor, and support your team's development through regular feedback, goal setting, onboarding, and engagement initiatives – building a team that performs and thrives.
• Streamline the workflow: Continuously spot workflow inefficiencies, drive automation, and optimize production processes – then document it all in clear guidelines, reports, and best practices.
• Balance workload: Support resource planning and distribute workload effectively across the team.
• Get hands-on when needed: When deadlines spike or priorities shift, jump in and do the localization work yourself alongside the team.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure adherence to localization standards and best practices.
• Reach department KPIs related to quality, delivery, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high-quality localized assets with minimal revisions and rework.
  
  

Who you would be working with​

• You will be reporting to the Creative Agency Team Lead and leading a group of 4 Video/2D Localization Artists.
• You will be also working alongside 17 designers and artists in the Creative Agency Team (including Graphic Designers, Illustration Artists, Motion Designers, Video Artists, and Project Manager).
• You will closely collaborate with internal clients, including the marketing team and multiple game teams globally.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Demonstrated experience leading creative, localization, production, or design teams.
• Solid understanding of localization workflows for marketing and promotional assets.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, composition, layout, and visual communication.
• Experience working with both static and video asset localization.
• Experience developing processes, documentation, and workflow improvements.
