(If you’ve enjoyed a burger with cheese at your favorite restaurant, there’s a good chance you’ve enjoyed some of our delicious dairy.) Part of your role includes monitoring the equipment and performing many different quality checks to make sure we’re meeting customer requirements. That's why you'll wear a hard hat, hair net, boots, safety glasses and other safety equipment (at no cost to you), and you'll be expected to follow good manufacturing practices to keep you and our food safe. Physical Demands Analysis: Work Day – 8 hours (+ 4 hours if necessary) Sit – 5- 15 minutes Stand – 2-3 hours Walk – 5-6 hours Lift up to 50 lbs frequently (See below for Cook Operator) Occasional Activities: Climb Ladders and Work at Heights Continuous Activities: Bend/Stoop, Twist, Crouch, Balance Frequent Activities: Squat, Climb Stairs Casting Shred Cook Operator: (O)- Occasional, (F)- Frequent, (C)- Continuous Above shoulders – 14-55 lbs (O) dump buckets and lift bags Desk to Chair – 14-55 lbs (F) scoop ingredients, cheese, blocks, bags Chair to floor – 10-70 lbs (O) pallets (F) ingredient bags Push/Pull – 21-80 lbs (O) trash dumpster (F) cheese tubs Carry – 10-70 lbs (O) ingredient bucket, (O) pallets, (F) bags, (C) cheese ​ Requirements: Candidates must have the ability to read, understand and follow written procedures. Proficiency in reading and comprehension of the English language is required. At least two years of manufacturing experience is preferred. This job may require you to operate an electronic pallet jack or forklift and work in cold or hot conditions. Each position requires passing a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen.
