Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Eastern Pennsylvania

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000+ base salary, plus comprehensive benefits (Sign-on bonus / relocation assistance available)

A growing manufacturing facility in Eastern Pennsylvania is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our technical team and take ownership of plant reliability. This is a newly created leadership role designed for someone who thrives in high-speed, automated production environments and wants to make an immediate, tangible impact.

Working directly alongside plant leadership, you will build out a structured reliability program, mentor an expanding maintenance crew, and optimize equipment uptime across continuous, 24/7 operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule, and develop a crew of maintenance technicians, fostering an environment centered on safety, accountability, and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Manage and expand the preventative and predictive maintenance program using modern CMMS software (MaintainX).
  • Drive rapid, effective troubleshooting on high-speed automated equipment, mechanical drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Direct in-house electrical repairs and partner with outside contractors and system integrators on complex PLC and controls projects.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, maintenance budgeting, contractor relationships, and vendor support.
  • Partner with operations to diagnose recurring mechanical downtime and implement root-cause corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience (Supervisor or Manager level) in a high-speed industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Proven background managing maintenance teams of 5 or more technicians in continuous, multi-shift (24/7) operating environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and CMMS platforms.
  • Hands-on electrical troubleshooting background; ability to navigate PLC systems and coordinate with third-party automation specialists.
  • Prior plastics experience or technical familiarity with processes such as extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, or pelletizing is strongly preferred.
  • Solid track record of improving operational reliability, safety standards, and team performance.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary in the $100K–$125K range, with flexibility based on demonstrated leadership and technical capability.
  • Opportunity to participate in future plant performance and profitability bonus structures.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and retirement benefits.
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance considered for well-qualified regional candidates.
  • Streamlined hiring process with direct communication and rapid feedback.
