Manager, Brand Marketing

Headquartered in India, its flagship product, the PhonePe digital payments app, was launched in Aug 2016. The Role

We are looking for a strong brand professional to help build the PhonePe corporate brand. As Manager, Corporate Brand, you will contribute to shaping how the country perceives and feels about PhonePe, beyond the products it uses. You will work on brand-building creative and communication that earns attention and builds emotional equity, while working across new-age media formats and creator ecosystems to take the brand to audiences across India.

This is a high-visibility role in a fast-evolving media landscape, where the line between media and content is increasingly blurred and traditional approaches to brand distribution are being rewritten.

Responsibilities

• Creative and content: Develop brand films, content and campaigns designed to build perception and emotional connection rather than drive immediate conversion. Brief, review and guide agencies and creative partners to deliver work of high craft.

• New-age media and creators: Plan and execute brand storytelling through creators, digital-first platforms and emerging media formats. Track how these spaces are evolving and translate those learnings into sharper creative and distribution choices.

• Campaign execution: Own campaigns end to end, from briefing and partner onboarding to final delivery, with strong planning, ownership and attention to detail.

• Cross-business alignment: Work with teams across PhonePe's businesses to ensure each contributes to a consistent and coherent corporate brand.

• Brand health and insight: Use consumer insight and brand tracking to inform creative direction and media choices, and to assess how brand perception is shifting.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in brand or marketing, with a clear understanding of how brands are built for a pan-India audience

• Strong creative and communication judgment, with the ability to distinguish brand-building work from performance-led work

• Hands-on experience with new-age media and creator partnerships, and genuine curiosity about how the space is evolving

• High standards of execution, with a track record of delivering quality work on time

• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence and build alignment across teams
