This role is critical to Kintec's New York construction practice and its wider US growth plan. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will inherit a live and high performing, warm desk of construction clients across New York (General Contractors, Sub-Contractors etc.) plus a growing pipeline in the DMV, Carolinas, and Florida, along with a dedicated resourcer. You will be responsible for leading and developing the team behind you into a cohesive a succession plan and work as part of the leadership team to actualize the strategic vision of the business. There is a clearly mapped route of progression to Director (leading a team generating $1M+ annual NFI) which would also then include the potential for equity participation as the wider business scales.

Candidate Background, Skills, and Experience

• Must have recruitment experience within construction, general contracting, specialty/subcontracting, real estate, engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Must have a demonstrable and sustained personal billing track record: ideally $250K-300K+ per year.
• Either a Principal Consultant ready to step up to Manager, or an existing Manager looking for a bigger remit, more ownership and potential equity participation.
• Comfortable running a 360 desk end-to-end: business development, account management, client delivery, candidate management, directing and mentoring a dedicated resourcer.
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on - must lead from the front and have commercial acumen

This role would suit the following individuals:

• A Principal Consultant who has proven billings and wants their shot at running a desk and a team.
• An existing Team Lead/Manager who wants more autonomy and genuine upside — including a defined route to equity — at a scaling, founder-led operation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary $90,000–$120,000 (Manager), depending on experience level.
• Uncapped commission: 10% to 40%, calculated quarterly and paid monthly in arrears, no threshold.
• 5% team override on NFI at Manager level, in addition to personal sales commission.
• Company-covered benefits — no employee contribution.
• Pre-tax commuter benefit (TASC/MTA) + other benefits and perks.
• 401(k) match: 100% on the first 4%, 50% on the next 4%.
• Potential equity participation tied to the business's future sale, for the right person — discussed individually.
