In an outsourced operating model, this role will manage the third-party service provider responsible for preparation and submission of regulatory filings, while ensuring the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of information provided by SCOR. The role will coordinate closely across P&C and Life & Health business with close interaction with Technical Closing, Technical Accounting, Technical Reporting, Investments, Reserving, Tax, external and internal auditors, and reporting providers to support smooth period-end close execution and successful filing delivery.
Regulatory Reporting Governance & Service Provider Management
- Serve as SCOR's primary relationship manager for the outsourced regulatory reporting service provider.
- Oversee the end-to-end regulatory reporting process, including preparation timelines, information requests, review cycles, issue resolution, approvals, and final submission readiness.
- Monitor service provider performance against agreed deadlines, service expectations, quality standards, and escalation protocols.
- Coordinate the review, challenge, and approval of regulatory filings prepared by the service provider prior to submission.
- Manage reporting issues, exceptions, and open items with clear ownership, practical solutions, and timely escalation where needed.
- Lead regular governance touchpoints with the service provider and provide concise status updates to management.
- Statutory & Regulatory Reporting Coordination Coordinate statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for SCOR US companies across both Property & Casualty and Life & Health.
- Partner with Life & Health stakeholders to ensure filing calendars, data requirements, review protocols, and sign-off processes are aligned across entities.
- Support regulatory inquiries, examinations, external audit requests, and management reporting related to statutory and regulatory filings.
Maintain reporting calendars, deliverable trackers, key milestones, dependencies, and documentation standards.
Close Process Integration & Information Delivery
- Liaise with Technical Closing, Technical Accounting and Technical Reporting teams to support a smooth period-end close and timely downstream delivery of required information to the reporting provider.
- Coordinate financial, actuarial, technical accounting, investment, tax, treasury, and other required inputs for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Track completeness and quality of information provided to the service provider, including reconciliations, explanations, and supporting schedules.
- Facilitate timely resolution of close-related reporting issues, data discrepancies, and dependency risks.
Investment Reporting & Clearwater Oversight
- Maintain and manage the relationship with Clearwater for investment-related reporting outputs and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate investment reporting deliverables required for statutory and regulatory filings.
- Review investment-related reporting outputs and supporting documentation for completeness, consistency, and audit readiness.
Review and approve investment-related ICS controls, ensuring control documentation remains current and appropriately supported.
Internal Controls, Quality & Audit Readiness
- Ensure regulatory reporting processes are supported by appropriate controls, documentation, evidence, and governance routines.
- Coordinate control testing, remediation follow-up, audit requests, and management review procedures related to regulatory and investment reporting.
- Promote clear ownership, documentation discipline, and sustainable operating practices across the outsourced reporting model.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, efficiency, transparency, and control effectiveness.
Other
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests outside the day-to-day operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Insurance statutory accounting or regulatory reporting experience is a plus.
- Prior experience dealing with investment accounting using Clearwater Analytics will be an advantage.
- 3+ years of experience in insurance finance, controllership, statutory accounting, regulatory reporting, investment accounting, external audit, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. statutory accounting principles and insurance regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience with P&C insurance reporting; exposure to Life & Health reporting preferred.
- Experience managing third-party service providers, outsourced finance processes, or complex cross-functional reporting deliverables.
- Experience supporting external audits, regulatory examinations, internal controls, and management reporting.

Pay Range for roles performed in NY: $114,000-$139,000 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including
but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees.
