What You Will Do

Under general direction, you will manage a portfolio of environmental remediation projects, including Federal, State, and Tribal CERCLA sites, legacy mining liabilities, and other environmental obligations. • Provide technical leadership for environmental remediation initiatives involving groundwater investigations, site characterization, contaminant transport assessments, hydraulic containment systems, water balance evaluations, treatment optimization, and remedy performance reviews. Guide technical consultants, evaluate remedial alternatives, and ensure scientifically sound, defensible, and effective project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, budgets, environmental reserve forecasts, schedules, and cost-control plans that support long-term liability management, regulatory compliance, and successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with legal counsel, company leadership, regulatory agencies, operations personnel, Tribal representatives, community stakeholders, and other internal and external partners to address environmental issues and advance project objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on environmental programs, practices, and compliance requirements, including existing and emerging local, State, Federal, and Tribal regulations that may impact remediation activities and business operations.
