About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing AI infrastructure platform startup seeking its first dedicated finance hire.
They are looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Manager of Strategic Finance & Revenue Operations who can build the company’s revenue operations infrastructure from the ground up, establish scalable financial processes, and reduce operational risk as the business grows.
This is a P0, hands-on builder role for someone with strong consulting or investment banking foundations and proven startup operating experience.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Operations & Deal Desk
- Own the end-to-end deal desk and quote-to-cash process.
- Manage pricing, contract reviews, and order management for high-value deals.
- Build and improve revenue operations processes from the ground up.
- Manage complex billing and invoicing scenarios.
Billing & Collections
- Own end-to-end billing and invoicing operations.
- Improve and optimize the billing technology stack, including Stripe, Tabs, or similar platforms.
- Establish and manage collections and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
- Improve visibility into credit exposure and manage delayed payments.
- Identify and resolve billing and payment issues.
Financial Close & Revenue
- Serve as the internal finance owner for the month-end revenue close process.
- Ensure revenue close is accurate, timely, and properly documented.
- Support or own revenue recognition processes, including ASC 606 compliance where applicable.
Strategic Finance
- Partner closely with the VP of Finance on strategic initiatives.
- Support forecasting and financial modeling.
- Prepare board materials and executive-level financial analysis.
- Take ownership of additional strategic finance initiatives as the company's core operational processes mature.
Key Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Finance, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations within a growth-stage technology company.
- 2+ years at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain, with a pre-MBA exit.
- Top-tier investment banking experience may also be considered.
- 4+ years of sustained post-graduate professional experience.
- Experience working at a Series B or Series C-stage B2B/Enterprise technology company.
- 2–4 years of hands-on operating experience in areas such as:
- Strategic Finance
- Revenue Operations
- Business Operations
- Strategy & Operations
- Chief of Staff
- Special Projects
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Direct ownership of either:
- A billing system build, or
- An ASC 606 revenue recognition implementation/policy.
- Experience with Stripe, Tabs, or similar billing platforms is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare:
- Board memos
- Executive materials
- Customer collection communications
- Financial analyses and reports
- Demonstrated builder mentality with the ability to create processes and infrastructure from scratch.

- A pre-MBA consulting exit.
