Senior Finance & Accounting Associate – Healthcare Investment Platform

About the Opportunity

A growing healthcare-focused investment firm is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Associate to join its finance team in Brooklyn. The firm acquires, invests in, and operates healthcare businesses across areas including healthcare services, revenue cycle management, technology-enabled services, behavioral health, home health, and other provider-focused businesses.


This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO, with exposure across financial reporting, accounting, acquisitions, integration, and strategic finance. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation but is looking for a broader, more entrepreneurial role where they can help build and improve the finance function as the platform grows.


Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple portfolio companies
  • Assist with consolidated financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis
  • Partner with portfolio company finance and accounting teams to improve reporting processes and controls
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and other FP&A initiatives
  • Assist with acquisition diligence, financial analysis, and post-close integration
  • Analyze financial and operating performance and identify key trends and business drivers
  • Support tax reporting and compliance initiatives in coordination with internal and external partners
  • Help develop scalable processes, reporting packages, and financial controls as the organization grows
  • Work directly with senior leadership on ad hoc strategic finance and operational projects


Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of relevant accounting, audit, transaction advisory, FP&A, or corporate finance experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
  • CPA or public accounting background is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Experience working across multiple entities or business units is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with senior executives and operating teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and taking ownership beyond a traditional job description


Compensation

  • $120,000 - $150,000 Total Compensation, commensurate with experience
