Modern Family Law is growing, and we are looking for talented attorneys to join our team! We are currently offering a $25,000 signing bonus and relocation package.

Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a driven, compassionate, and experienced Managing Attorney to join our talented team in McLean, VA. This role is hybrid, and the Managing Attorney must live within driving distance of our office in McLean, VA.

We are seeking a Managing Attorney to oversee the day-to-day operations in our McLean, VA office while handling diverse family law cases and making a meaningful impact on our clients' lives. This position is critical in ensuring the productivity and profitability of the office by balancing legal expertise, team mentorship, and operational management. To be successful in this role, the Managing Attorney will:
- Oversee daily operations, productivity, and profitability of the McLean, VA office.
- Lead, mentor, and develop legal staff through training, motivation, and support.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR on recruitment and policy compliance.
- Coordinate with other leaders to ensure cross-departmental support.
- Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice on family law matters.
- Represent clients in court, prepare legal documents, and negotiate settlements.

Compensation: The pay range for this position in this location is $190,000 - $250,000. Additionally, we are currently offering a $25,000 signing bonus and relocation package. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential
- Active admission to the Virginia State Bar
- Must be within commuting distance of the McLean, VA office
- Skilled at mentoring and leading a team
- Proficient in client counselling, case prep, case management and courtroom representation
- Exceptional writing and communication skills

Desirable
- 5+ years of devoted Family Law experience
