Inside the Role

Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA’s core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

The Manufacturing Engineering team works closely with production, quality, design, and other cross-functional groups to ensure manufacturing processes are optimized and ready to support new and existing products.
In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment by analyzing production processes, conducting time studies, supporting product launch activities, and identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and ergonomics. You'll work alongside engineers to evaluate manufacturing methods, assist with tooling and equipment improvements, support prototype and production builds, and help ensure processes are capable, efficient, and ready for full-scale production. This internship is a great opportunity for students who enjoy problem-solving, continuous improvement, and seeing how engineering decisions directly impact the products built for customers.
