Manufacturing Team Lead

Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety. Coordinate daily production schedules, workflow, staffing, and job priorities. Lead, train, cross-train, and support production employees. Monitor output, quality, scrap, yield, materials, and inventory levels. Ensure materials, tools, and supplies are available to meet production needs. Address production issues and escalate safety, quality, staffing, or scheduling risks. Enforce work instructions, company policies, safety requirements, PPE, and 5S standards. Maintain accurate production and ERP records and support cycle counts. Partner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Stockroom teams. Support continuous-improvement and problem-solving activities. Provide the Plant Manager with feedback regarding employee performance, attendance, and development needs. High school diploma or GED required; related associate degree preferred. Manufacturing or production experience required; previous experience as a team lead, trainer, or senior operator preferred. Knowledge of production processes, ERP transactions, Microsoft Office, Lean manufacturing, and 5S preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions, and perform hands-on production work. For Kansas, the expected hourly wage for this position is between $26–$31 . The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10% as well as 401K match up to 8% (vesting schedule).
