About MedTech World
Launched in Malta in 2020, MedTech World has grown into an international platform connecting MedTech and HealthTech founders, investors, healthcare systems, clinicians, corporates and policymakers. Our events span Malta, Dubai, West Palm Beach and Hong Kong, supported by media, investor gatherings and year-round community activity.
We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to help our campaigns reach the right people and turn interest into attendance. You’ll work across email, social media, website, video and podcasts, with responsibility for keeping campaigns organised, accurate and effective.
Marketing Executive
We are seeking a versatile Marketing Executive to support our full spectrum of marketing activities, including social media, content on website, and day-to-day marketing operations, with a strong focus on media-driven channels such as YouTube and Spotify. This role involves coordinating content across platforms, and providing hands-on support to the wider marketing team to ensure all activity is engaging, consistent, and aligned with brand goals. The ideal candidate will track and interpret analytics across channels, contribute strategic insights, and play an active role in strengthening our overall marketing performance.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and publish content across all active social channels (including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Spotify and YouTube), maintaining a consistent posting cadence and brand voice.
Content Coordination
Collaborate closely with the media and content production team to plan and organize upcoming content, ensuring all materials are prepared for publication and maintaining a smooth workflow from creation to final upload. Maintain a centralised content calendar that aligns social, video, podcast, and news page activity.
Content Optimisation
Optimise published videos and posts by adjusting metadata, descriptions, tags, captions, hashtags, and overall presentation to maximise reach and engagement. Apply platform-specific best practices for visibility and make data-driven tweaks based on performance and evolving trends.
Thumbnail and Creative Collaboration
Work with the design team to create compelling, brand-aligned thumbnails, social graphics, and email visuals that capture attention, enhance click-through rates, and are continuously refined for optimal visual impact.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
Monitor and interpret analytics across social, video, podcast, and email channels to assess content performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver clear insights and recommendations. Prepare regular performance reports for the wider team, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable next steps.
Platform Trends and Updates
Stay up to date with the latest trends, features, and algorithm changes on YouTube, Spotify, social networks, and email marketing platforms, ensuring content and campaign strategies are aligned with current best practices and audience behaviour.
Marketing Operations Support
Provide general support to the marketing department by assisting with campaign coordination, asset organisation, vendor communication, event preparation, and the day-to-day running of marketing initiatives. Help maintain documentation, brand guidelines, and shared resources so the team can operate efficiently. Support paid media activity where needed, including basic ad setup, asset preparation, and performance tracking.
Creative Contribution
Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and promotional activations, while also performing any additional marketing tasks as needed to support overall departmental goals.
Ideally, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content management roles.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, and digital marketing trends, with the ability to apply strategies that drive audience engagement and conversion.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (such as Meta Business Suite, Hubspot) is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences.
- Creative mindset paired with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and deliver projects on tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working with data and reporting tools to draw meaningful insights from campaign performance.
- Experience managing content on YouTube and Spotify is a plus.
- Basic working knowledge of design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Express) and short-form video editing apps is an advantage.
The Person
This role would suit someone who is creative, ambitious, commercially aware and motivated by measurable results. You should be comfortable moving quickly between campaigns, content and digital channels, while always keeping an eye on what is driving engagement, registrations and growth.
We’re looking for a proactive self-starter who brings ideas to the table, takes ownership of campaigns and follows through from concept to execution. You should have a strong eye for content and messaging, understand how to communicate with different audiences, and be comfortable using data to understand what is working and where we can improve.
You’ll need to be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously. As part of an international and predominantly remote team, you should communicate proactively, collaborate effectively across departments and maintain a high level of accountability.
Most importantly, we want someone who is genuinely interested in building a global brand. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to market major international MedTech conferences across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia, experiment with new ideas and channels, and build a valuable network within one of the world’s fastest-evolving industries.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means growing the reach, engagement and visibility of MedTech World while helping convert that attention into registrations, attendees and commercial opportunities.
It means planning and executing effective marketing campaigns across channels including email, social media, paid campaigns, content, partnerships and digital platforms, with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
You’ll understand how to communicate differently to our key audiences — from founders and investors to healthcare executives, clinicians, corporates and industry leaders — creating messaging and campaigns that are relevant and compelling to each.
Success means consistently producing and coordinating high-quality content, keeping campaigns moving, meeting deadlines and ensuring the MedTech World brand remains strong and consistent across every touchpoint.
It also means being data-driven. You’ll monitor campaign performance, audience growth, engagement, registrations and conversions, using those insights to test new approaches and continuously improve results rather than simply repeating what we’ve done before.
You’ll work closely with our sales, partnerships, conference production and media teams to ensure marketing activity supports the wider commercial and strategic objectives of each event.
Ultimately, you’ll help grow the MedTech World brand and its global community, building engaged audiences across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia and turning our international events, speakers, partners and stories into campaigns that people want to engage with.
