Work Timings: 08:00AM – 5:00PM + 1-hour Fixed Overtime per day, 6 days working per week (9 working hours / day + 1 hour lunch break).

Role description

The Mason shall be responsible for carrying out all masonry, tiling, plastering, waterproofing, and related civil maintenance works at residential and commercial properties. The employee is expected to deliver high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards, project schedules, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out brickwork, blockwork, plastering, rendering, screeding, and concrete repair works.

• Perform tile laying, grouting, marble and stone installation, and related finishing works.

• Execute waterproofing preparation and repair works as instructed by the supervisor.

• Carry out demolition, wall cutting, core cutting, and reinstatement works when required.

• Repair cracks, damaged walls, ceilings, floors, pavements, and other civil structures.

• Mix mortar, cement, concrete, and other construction materials in the correct proportions.

• Ensure all masonry works are completed in accordance with company quality standards and project specifications.

• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades (electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, painters, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

• Identify material requirements in advance and report shortages to the supervisor.

• Follow all health, safety, and company policies while performing assigned duties.

• Attend emergency maintenance calls and work overtime whenever required by operational needs.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Company that are reasonably related to the role.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mason in building maintenance, fit-out, or construction projects.

• Experience in residential villa maintenance will be an advantage.

• Ability to perform multiple civil works including masonry, plastering, tiling, and concrete repairs.

• Basic understanding of construction drawings and measurements is preferred.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual work.

• Knowledge of safe working practices and proper use of construction tools and equipment.
