Property Maintenance Technician - Holiday Homes

The role

This is a hands-on maintenance role with a coordination side to it. You will fix the smaller issues yourself — the ones that would otherwise cost a callout fee and a day of waiting — and you will manage the contractors and building teams who handle the larger ones. You will move between properties across the city, so your own car is essential.

What you will do

• Attend properties to resolve minor faults directly: fixtures, fittings, door locks, curtain and blind mechanisms, silicone and grouting, furniture assembly, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, appliance troubleshooting.
• Diagnose larger issues and escalate them properly — scope the problem, brief the right vendor, obtain quotations, attend the works and sign them off.
• Liaise with building management and owners' association teams on access permits, NOCs, common-area faults and utility issues.
• Carry out routine property checks between guest stays and report on condition, wear and anything requiring preventive attention.
• Respond to urgent guest issues within agreed timeframes, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Maintain a clear record of works completed, costs and vendor performance.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving licence and your own car (mileage reimbursed).
• Practical repair ability across general building and apartment maintenance.
• Comfortable working independently across multiple locations in one day.

Experience in holiday homes, hospitality or facilities management is an advantage, as is a trade qualification in AC, plumbing or electrical work — but neither is required if you can demonstrate the practical skills.

Package

Salary will be AED 5,500 and we will provide visa and health insurance, as per the UAE Labour Law and mobile and transport allowance.
