MD/DO Ophthalmologist - Cornea Specialist

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Cornea Specialist to join our established, high-volume ophthalmology practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This opportunity is ideal for fellowship-trained cornea specialists interested in stepping into an established practice with strong referral demand within a physician-led organization that values long-term partnership. Practice at a Glance Strong referral base supporting cornea, cataract, and refractive surgical volume, including DMEK, DSAEK, PKP, as well as LASIK and PRK. with opportunity to further develop and shape a robust cornea practice. Refractive surgery procedures, including toric and multifocal lenses, are well compensated. Broad spectrum of ocular pathology, including complex and tertiary-level cases. Full-service practice with comprehensive ophthalmologists and subspecialists, including glaucoma, pediatrics, retina, and oculoplastics. Collegial, team-oriented environment with long-standing physician collaboration. Well-developed surgical infrastructure and experienced clinical support teams. Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program and fellowship training is required for this role. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
