The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and documenting mechanical and electromechanical testing activities for downhole completion tools and associated technologies. This role will work closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Reliability, and Quality teams to ensure products meet stringent performance, reliability, and safety requirements for global oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute mechanical test plans, validation protocols, and qualification programs for intelligent completion products.
  • Design and implement test fixtures, pressure vessels, loading systems, and specialized equipment used for product verification and reliability testing.
  • Conduct functional, environmental, pressure, temperature, vibration, fatigue, and lifecycle testing of downhole completion tools.
  • Analyze test data and prepare detailed engineering reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to evaluate product performance, identify failure modes, and recommend design improvements.
  • Support root cause failure in investigations using engineering methodologies such as FMEA, fault tree analysis, and statistical data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, internal engineering specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve product performance issues and improve reliability.
  • Participate in product qualification and certification activities for global deployment.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and safe operating procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on test efficiency, product quality, and operational excellence.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
