Are you looking for a career that makes a difference?
JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and dedicated on-site Medication Management Nurse who can help our organization thrive as we help people live their own best lives. We’re looking for someone who is a collaborative worker with a passion for helping others, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to providing excellent, client-centered service.
Join us as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Residential Medication Management and make a meaningful impact across JAMHI's residential behavioral health and community-based services. In this specialized nursing role, you'll oversee medication management processes for residential clients, ensuring medications are coordinated, administered, documented, and monitored safely and accurately. You'll have the opportunity to support client wellness through effective medication oversight, strengthen regulatory compliance, develop staff competency, and improve medication-related workflows across residential programs.
You will work closely with prescribers, residential staff, pharmacies, behavioral health providers, and care teams to support medication adherence, medication reconciliation, pharmacy coordination, and clinical follow-up for residential clients. You will provide training and oversight related to medication administration, identify and resolve discrepancies, monitor documentation and compliance requirements, and ensure consistent medication management practices across programs. Through strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement, you will help JAMHI promote client safety, maintain regulatory compliance, reduce medication-related risks, and support positive health outcomes for the individuals we serve.
Please note: This role is primarily focused on medication management, medication coordination, documentation review, and residential nursing oversight. It is not a traditional clinic-based nursing position and involves limited direct in-clinic patient care. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex medication processes across multiple residential settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A nationally accredited associate’s degree in nursing or BSN and successful completion of the NCLEX RN exam with passing score.
- Three years of experience in behavioral health, primary care, or related clinical experience.
License/Certification:
- Current Alaska RN license, or ability to obtain before RN duties begin; maintain licensure and continuing competency
- A valid driver’s license and clearance through JAMHI’s automobile insurance screening.
Pay rates offered are determined based on a standardized scale that considers relevant experience and education.
All JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier if driving.
JAMHI believes that diversity of thought, lived experience, culture, identity, and perspective strengthens our workplace and drives better outcomes. We welcome individuals who bring different ways of thinking and a wide range of personal and professional backgrounds.
We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
