Position Overview
A healthcare provider in Suwanee, Georgia is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its nursing team. Registered Nurses in this role are responsible for the independent supervision and delivery of nursing care to a designated group of residents. RNs assess resident needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals throughout each resident’s stay.
The RN also provides clinical oversight to Care Specialists and other nursing personnel, helping ensure high-quality, outcome-focused care is delivered consistently and in accordance with current nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver effective, quality nursing care focused on positive resident outcomes through utilization of the nursing process
Assess resident needs and assist in the development of individualized plans of care in collaboration with residents, responsible parties, and the interdisciplinary care team
Implement and manage care plans consistently and effectively with a focus on resident-centered outcomes
Identify resident needs and provide input for discharge planning and follow-up care throughout the resident’s length of stay
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, communicating relevant information and changes that may affect the resident’s plan of care
Provide and maintain optimum resident care and comfort using current nursing practices and clinical standards
Administer nursing care, monitor resident conditions, evaluate outcomes, and respond appropriately to changes in health status
Provide education and support to residents, families, and responsible parties throughout treatment and discharge planning
Provide appropriate clinical supervision and direction to Care Specialists and other nursing personnel
Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to facility policies, documentation requirements, professional standards, and applicable codes of conduct
Qualifications
Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
RN license must be in good standing
Must hold current CPR certification or obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Knowledge of infection control principles and practices
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding resident and facility information
Ability to communicate professionally and work cooperatively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
Must meet applicable background and registry requirements
Physical Requirements
This position involves medium physical work, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time and frequently lift or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
