Is this job info correct?

Veterinary Medical Director - Worthington Woods Animal Care Center | Worthington (Columbus), Ohio Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced DVM to lead our fun, hardworking clinical team! The Medical Director role combines hands on patient care with leadership of our DVM team and medical support staff. In collaboration with our hospital management team, the medical director is responsible for providing excellent patient and client care, mentoring associate veterinarians, and maintaining our positive, team-centric culture. Why Worthington Woods Animal Care? After 30 plus years building the practice, our founder, Dr. James Miller is preparing for a slower pace! He doesn’t plan to “ride off into the sunset” upon your hire, but instead, he would love to work in tandem with an incoming DVM/Medical Director to ensure a smooth transition and support as you settle into the role. Our business is THRIVING. We have a consistent review average of over 4.8 stars on Google. You are stepping into a role to maintain excellence, not to put out fires. Our support team is tenured and skilled. Collectively, our RVT’s have an average of ten years employed at Worthington Woods. They are highly skilled and competent, allowing our DVM’s to fully focus on their role instead of setting catheters, drawing labs, etc.. Our DVM team is awesome (no, we aren’t biased). They regularly collaborate, problem solve, and support each other’s growth. In our practice, we believe that investing in our team and workplace yields better medicine. We are actively growing and investing in our practice! We are finishing an expansion/remodel creating an additional treatment area and more exam rooms. In this role, you will have the space and support to grow. Who are we looking for? DVM / VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school 5+ years of experience in small animal medicine (preferred) Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills Ohio veterinary license (or ability to obtain) A good human who plays nice with pets and people Has strong communication skills and a desire to foster lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and other WWACC team members Takes pride in their work and strives to provide a memorable client experience with each appointment Has a willingness to guide, mentor, and be a member of the team What can we offer you? Competitive Compensation package (commensurate with experience) Base Salary Range $150,000 to $170,000 plus Medical Director Stipend Production with no negative accrual Generous sign on bonus and relocation assistance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401K options Flexible scheduling and PTO Annual CE allowance + CE days Paid license renewals, membership dues, and AVMA PLIT coverage Personal pet care discounts If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for, Worthington Woods Animal Care Center wants to hear from you! The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location. Where required under applicable law, the company provides eligible employees with paid sick leave, health emergency leave, and similar benefits programs, all in accordance with the requirements of state and local law depending on the location of the practice you support.
