What You'll Be Doing Reporting to the Medical Practice Co-ordinator, you'll be an essential part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering medical, allied health, and primary health care services to the Mid-Eyre community. Your day-to-day will include: Managing front-of-house reception, patient bookings, and appointment scheduling with accuracy and care Providing timely administrative, clerical, and financial support to practitioners, management, and health unit committees Processing billing, Medicare claims, and financial transactions in line with SA Health policies Supporting staff and management with correspondence, record keeping, and reporting requirements What You'll Bring Demonstrated experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within a health or community services setting Confident working knowledge of medical practice software and general office systems Strong communication skills and a calm, considered manner when working with patients and clinical staff Ability to manage competing priorities in a shared-service environment without compromising accuracy Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Medicare billing and health fund processes in line with EFNLHN requirements A commitment to culturally respectful service delivery for the diverse communities across the Eyre and Far North region Why Mid-Eyre Medical Practice SA Health offers more than a job - it offers purpose.
