Member of Technical Staff

About the Role

Join an engineering team building AI systems that perform meaningful work within a fast-growing company in the accounting technology sector. You will help develop the infrastructure, workflows, and evaluation practices needed to make AI agents more capable and reliable in production.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship full-stack products and systems from early concept through production.

• Develop AI agents, agent infrastructure, integrations, and MCPs that perform production work.

• Create evaluation suites, monitor agent trajectories, and use findings to improve agent performance.

• Work with coding agents and understand the workflows and systems they support.

• Take ownership of projects and their outcomes, from identifying problems to delivering working solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Five to fifteen years of experience building products from zero to one as a full-stack engineer.

• Experience building AI agents, agent infrastructure, integrations, or MCPs used in production.

• Experience evaluating agent behavior, monitoring trajectories, and iterating on performance.

• Familiarity with coding agents and strong systems thinking, initiative, and ownership.

• Experience with TypeScript and Python, and an interest in applying AI to complex business workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days a week in New York, New York, United States.
