Member of Technical Staff, Product Engineering

About the Role

Join a product engineering team building AI-powered software for scientists and life sciences teams. In this frontend-leaning, full-stack role, you will turn advances in AI into polished, reliable product experiences and own features from design through launch.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain full-stack product features, from user interfaces to backend services.

• Design intuitive experiences for working with AI agents, workflows, and scientific tools.

• Develop and improve billing, usage tracking, authentication, permissions, and account management.

• Partner with scientists, AI researchers, and infrastructure engineers to bring technical capabilities into production-ready products.

• Ship iteratively, use feedback to guide improvements, and raise product quality, reliability, and performance.

• Use coding agents and establish effective AI-assisted workflows for engineering tasks.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience building modern web applications as a product, full-stack, or frontend-leaning software engineer, with experience ranging up to 10 or more years.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with frontend strength preferred.

• Experience owning product features end-to-end in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment, ideally at an AI startup or scale-up.

• Experience guiding AI tools to execute code and complete engineering tasks effectively.

• Strong product and design instincts, with attention to user experience and polish.

• Experience with cross-platform products, billing and metering, or enterprise SaaS is beneficial; an interest in AI and biology or life sciences is valued.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $200,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
