Mechanical Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing complex HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects while delivering exceptional results in safety, quality, budget, and schedule. This individual will provide leadership to project teams, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure successful project execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical construction projects valued at $20M+ from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.
• Oversee Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Manage change orders, project risks, and financial performance.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while driving operational excellence.
• Mentor project teams and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects.
• Proven experience successfully delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical construction processes.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial reporting.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with projects valued at $20M+ strongly preferred.
