MEP QA/QC Engineer

We are looking for an experienced MEP QA/QC Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, preferably with experience in high-rise residential construction projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect MEP works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants for approvals.
• Prepare and manage Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities for MEP systems.
• Identify quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Maintain quality records and support project handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP QA/QC, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
• Proven experience working with main contractors on residential or high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements, international standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Experience preparing ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and other quality documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
