Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a small engineering team building an AI platform that automates procurement for enterprise organizations. You will work across the stack and help shape core systems that make sense of fragmented business data and support AI agents in production.

What You'll Do

• Learn the codebase, business, and customer needs to identify and solve high-value problems.

• Work across infrastructure, backend services, and user interfaces as product needs evolve.

• Speak with enterprise customers to understand procurement challenges and translate those insights into product improvements.

• Design and own core AI agent systems that operate over complex enterprise data, primarily using Python.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership and teammates on the platform's architecture as it scales.

What We're Looking For

• Three to seven years of software engineering experience, including production work across the full stack.

• Strong Python experience, or proficiency in another language and the ability to ramp up quickly.

• Experience building distributed systems or data pipelines, with sound system design skills.

• A curious, self-directed approach, with examples of identifying and solving important problems independently.

• Clear communication and a collaborative approach with engineers, customers, and teammates.

• Experience in a high-performing technical environment, such as an AI research organization, major technology company, or growth-stage startup.

• Background in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial technology is helpful. Founding or early-stage experience is also valued.

• Strong technical fundamentals are welcome from a range of educational and professional backgrounds.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is $200,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

This is an on-site role in San Francisco, California.
