About the Role
Join a growing Series A enterprise AI startup as a full-stack software engineer building an AI agent platform for procurement. You will work across the stack, help shape core platform architecture, and turn customer needs into reliable product capabilities.
What You'll Do
Learn the codebase, business, and customer needs to identify and solve high-value problems.
Work across infrastructure, backend services, and user interfaces as priorities evolve.
Speak directly with enterprise customers to understand procurement challenges and inform product development.
Design and own core AI agent systems that work with fragmented enterprise data, primarily using Python.
Collaborate with engineering teammates and technical leadership on platform architecture as the product scales.
What We're Looking For
Three to seven years of software engineering experience, with production work across the full stack.
Strong Python experience, or proficiency in another language and the ability to ramp up quickly.
Experience building distributed systems or data pipelines, ideally including infrastructure and user-facing applications.
Strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to find and solve valuable problems independently.
Clear communication and collaborative experience working with engineers, customers, and cross-functional teammates.
Experience in a research lab, established technology company, or venture-backed growth-stage startup is valued.
Background in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, industrial technology, or as a founder or founding engineer is helpful.
Interest in an individual contributor role rather than people management.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $200,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
