Mid-Senior Product Engineer, Applied AI

About the Role

Join a product engineering team building AI-powered tools for a staffing and workforce marketplace. You will apply existing agents and frontier models to real operational workflows, helping automate how workers are sourced, vetted, matched, and placed.

What You'll Do

• Integrate AI agents and models into worker, business, and operations products to automate vetting, matching, and fulfilment.

• Lead frontend and backend development, and mentor other engineers.

• Design and build core systems, including matching services, vetting pipelines, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Own product features end to end, partnering with product and design to solve user and business problems.

• Contribute to architecture and technical direction while adapting to changing product priorities.

What We're Looking For

• Three to four years of software engineering experience owning products in early-stage or fast-growing teams.

• Experience shipping scalable products with speed amid ambiguity and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong product judgment and a record of connecting engineering work to user needs and business impact.

• Experience with TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.

• Experience integrating LLMs or agents into production products, including prompt design and tool integration, ideally on a 0-to-1 product.

• Experience across applied AI, marketplaces, matching systems, staffing, or operational workflows is valuable.

• Technical degree or equivalent strong computer science fundamentals.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
