The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team building the next generation of real-time trading applications. Unlike many Full Stack positions, this role has a strong emphasis on creating modern, intuitive user experiences, with approximately 70% of your time focused on Front End development and 30% on Back End engineering.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
Build intuitive user interfaces capable of handling complex real-time data.
Develop scalable backend services using Java.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket services for live data streaming.
Build high-performance applications capable of processing large volumes of real-time information.
Work with relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Contribute to architecture discussions and continuously improve software quality, performance and scalability.
Collaborate within an Agile engineering environment focused on delivering high-quality software.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for engineers who are passionate about building exceptional software and enjoy solving technically challenging problems.

You'll ideally have:

5+ years' commercial software engineering experience.
Strong experience developing applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
Commercial backend development experience using Java.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and WebSockets.
Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Experience using Git and modern development practices.
Python experience would be beneficial.
An interest in financial markets or trading technology would be advantageous.
