Millwright - Journeyman

Description We are currently seeking a Journeyman Millwright to join our Lunenburg Operations. The Millwright will possess the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic maintenance team in a progressive work environment. This is a unionized position located at our plant in Lunenburg, NS. The successful candidate will be assigned to an available shift by seniority following completion of in-house training. ( Relocation assistance available to those who are eligible ) Primary Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for general repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery　 Completion of preventative maintenance tasks　 General mechanical work in a production environment　 Ability to work with hand and powered tools　 Other projects/duties as required　 Qualifications:　 The ideal candidate will have a Journeyman Millwright certification.　 Maintain a clean and safe work area while contributing to overall plant safety and cleanliness　 Inspecting and monitoring machinery and equipment for pinch points and safety hazards; installing safety devices as required　 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision　 Capable of following instruction manuals and troubleshooting　 Excellent communication, team and people skills　 Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and flexibility　 The ability to provide excellent customer service in a demanding production environment　 Candidates must be capable of working rotating shifts.　 Job Type: Full-time Salary: $38.42 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Work Location: Lunenburg, In person What's in it for you?
