Network Operations Center Engineer

Network Operations Engineer – Leading Global Trading Firm, Hong Kong

We’re working with a top-tier global trading firm that’s growing its network operations team in Hong Kong. We’re open to mid-level and senior candidates.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and running live production networks, not designing them. You’ll keep a fast, global network healthy around the clock, with technology right at the centre of the business.

Relocation and visa sponsorship are available for candidates moving to Hong Kong.

What you’ll do

• Monitor production networks and respond to incidents quickly and calmly
• Find root causes and fix recurring problems for good
• Automate routine changes and improve monitoring and alerting
• Act as an escalation point and work with vendors and carriers to resolve issues
• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure and business teams

What you’ll bring

• Around 5 years in network operations or NOC roles, with financial services experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting across LAN, WAN and data centre networks (BGP, multicast, MPLS)
• CCNA/CCNP-level knowledge; Arista experience is a plus
• Low-latency or trading environment exposure is highly valued
• Comfortable with monitoring tools and some scripting (Python or similar)
• Mandarin is a bonus but not essential

On-call and out-of-hours work will be part of the role in future.
