A fast-growing AI-powered smart mobility company based in Dubai has gone from a handful of pilot sites to hundreds of live locations across the UAE in under two years, backed by major real estate, government and infrastructure partnerships. Every new site needs permits, NOCs and inspections before a single camera goes up. That work currently sits with external consultants and contractors, and it is the thing slowing projects down. The business is bringing it in house.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing, submitting and tracking applications, NOCs and permits with RTA, Dubai Municipality and other authorities
• Handling road opening and works permits, traffic diversion approvals and site clearances for works on and beside public roads
• Following up on authority comments, resubmissions, approvals and inspections until they close out
• Working with internal project teams, consultants and contractors to clear authority requirements
• Maintaining authority trackers and giving the projects team regular status updates
• Spotting approval delays early and escalating them before they hit the programme

What we need

• 5 years of UAE experience in an authority liaison, approvals or NOC role
• Hands on experience submitting to RTA Traffic and Roads and Dubai Municipality, with existing contacts in both
• Direct experience of permits for works on public land: road opening or works permits, traffic diversion plans, trial pit clearances, site clearances and inspections
• Comfortable reading layouts and drawings and dealing with authority engineers and inspectors
• A degree in engineering, architecture, business administration or project management
• Fluent Arabic and good English
• A UAE driving licence
• Strong Excel skills. AutoCAD is a bonus
