No standard call rotation: on-call is limited to just 3 specific emergency exams and compensated with a generous set flat fee. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities) Perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET procedures alongside board-certified radiologists and cardiologists. Manage hot lab workflows, including strict quality control, daily calibrations, and safe radiopharmaceutical handling/disposal. Maintain precise documentation within RIS, PACS, and Dose Management systems. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve patient comfort and imaging efficiency. What You Bring (Qualifications) Education/Accredited Programs Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred Licenses/Certificates/Registrations Current New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License, or eligible to apply for NYS licensure (out-of-state candidates must apply to the NYS Department of Health). CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification required. CPR Certification required (can be obtained at hire) Experience/Abilities Ability to effectively communicate with patients, students, staff, and physicians Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety of people Ability to promote and work in a team setting Ability to coach and teach less experienced team members Strong computer literacy skills required Strong Problem solving, trouble shooting, and critical thinking skills required
