We are a team of over 200 passionate professionals committed to delivering personalized, high-quality care close to home. We are currently seeking a dedicated Inpatient Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.
In this role, you'll provide comprehensive inpatient care—including admissions, rounding, coordination of discharges, and care for swing bed patients. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered outcomes in a supportive, tight-knit community. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the delivery of top-notch, evidenced based, patient centric care on the inpatient unit.

  • Collaborating with and advising a multidisciplinary team.

  • Managing swing bed patients and coordinating care transitions.

  • Educating patients and families.

  • Handling emergencies with calm, grace and the occasional coffee/tea.

  • Participating in medical staff meetings, improvement initiatives and hospital committees.

  • Providing 24-hour call coverage as scheduled, including in-house and on-call responsibilities.

  • Demonstrating procedural knowledge of central lines, chest tubes, lumbar puncture, intubation or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • ARNP and RN with an unrestricted Washington State Medical License

  • Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or as an Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Experience in managing acute, chronic, and critical conditions

  • Comfortable practicing in a rural or semi-rural environment
