Nurse Residency Program

Position Highlights:

• Position: Nurse Residency Program
• Location: Community Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Uphold the Nurse Residency Policy and Agreement Form
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support
• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum Experience: less than six (6) months nursing experience.

Compensation:

• The anticipated compensation range for this position is $32.50–$70 per hour, commensurate with qualifications, education, experience, and other applicable factors. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Bonus:
• Additional compensation may be available in the form of discretionary incentive or other compensation programs. Any such additional compensation is not guaranteed and is determined at the sole discretion of the organization based on applicable program terms, individual and/or organizational performance, and other eligibility requirements.

• Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
• Work Location: In-person/onsite
