Position Overview

A growing OB/GYN practice in the Plantation, Florida area is seeking a motivated, dedicated OB/GYN Physician to join its team. Key Responsibilities

· Routine Women's Health & Preventative Care: Perform annual wellness exams, routine gynecological examinations, preventative screenings, and provide ongoing women's healthcare throughout various stages of life.

· Obstetric Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal care for expectant mothers, including the management of both routine and high-risk pregnancies, monitoring fetal development, and addressing pregnancy-related concerns.

· Minor In-Office Procedures: Perform common gynecological procedures, including IUD insertions and removals, Pap smears, endometrial biopsies, and other minor diagnostic and treatment procedures.

· Outpatient Hospital Procedures: Perform and assist with outpatient surgical procedures in a hospital setting, as appropriate to the physician's training and scope of practice.

· Labor & Delivery: Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care, including monitoring labor progression, managing obstetric complications, performing vaginal deliveries, and conducting C-sections when indicated.

· Full-Spectrum Obstetric Care: Manage the complete continuum of maternity care, from initial prenatal visits and pregnancy management through labor, delivery, and postpartum follow-up.

Ideal Candidate Skills & Qualifications

· Successful completion of an accredited medical school program and OB/GYN residency. Must be eligible for medical licensure in Florida.

· Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

· Knowledge and experience in women's healthcare, obstetrics, gynecology, prenatal care, and labor and delivery.

· Highly motivated, proactive physician who takes initiative and is interested in helping to grow an expanding practice. Someone who enjoys building a patient base, developing relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

· A self-starter who is interested in more than simply fulfilling daily clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate is eager to take ownership, pursue new opportunities, and work toward a potential partnership within the practice after the first year.

· Friendly, approachable, and compassionate, with a genuine commitment to providing quality care and building long-term relationships with patients.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative approach to working with clinical and administrative staff.
