Responsibilities full scope of practice as an obstetrician/gynecologist providing care to the patients within Northern Zone participating in call and able to respond to urgent matters within 20 minutes of being called provide support to your own site but also to others in the Northern Zone if required, which will include day-time coverage and occasional overnight/weekend coverage responsible to the Zone Department Head for Obstetrics & Gynecologist for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority. Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities. Expected Hours Permanent Full-Time 37.5 hours/week 46 of 52 weeks/year On Call Participation - 1:4 Remuneration $451,604 CAD Annually Alternative Payment Plan (APP) - Specialty on-call stipends and other incentives are available through the Physician Agreement between the Province of Nova Scotia and Doctors Nova Scotia. It offers a wide range of programs and services for residents of Amherst and surrounding areas and specialty services for residents of Cumberland County. CRHCC has 46 inpatient beds.
