Job Description
This business believes occupational rehabilitation works
best when people feel genuinely seen, supported and understood. Their
consultants work at the intersection of health, work and wellbeing, helping
individuals regain confidence, purpose and sustainable function following
injury, illness or psychological distress.
Due to continued growth in Toowoomba, they are expanding their multidisciplinary team and are seeking
an Occupational Therapist at Consultant or Senior Consultant levels.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a “tick-the-box” rehabilitation role.
You will be trusted to think critically, work
collaboratively and tailor your approach to each individual. You’ll have the
autonomy to do your job properly, balanced with the support of an experienced
leadership team who value quality outcomes over volume.
The business is intentionally growing, with strong
investment in development, culture and sustainable workloads. KPIs are focused
on customer service and responsiveness, not just billables.
You’ll be part of a highly connected, supportive team that
maintains high standards while genuinely caring for one another, supported by a
clear cultural philosophy.
The Opportunity
Based in Toowoomba, you’ll join a close-knit team
that is continuing to grow, with a target of building a five-person local team
as part of a broader strategic expansion.
You will manage a diverse and meaningful caseload across:
- Work
Cover
- DVA
- Employer
and early intervention services
Your work will span physical, psychosocial and
workplace-based rehabilitation, supporting individuals through complex,
real-life challenges and helping them return to work safely, confidently and
sustainably.
You’ll work closely with injured workers, employers,
insurers, medical practitioners and internal team members to ensure
rehabilitation plans are practical, person-centred and aligned with best
practice.
