Wanipigow School is a modern well-equipped Nursery to Grade 12 school with 291 students located in the community of Hollow Water nestled on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg, a two-hour drive northeast of Winnipeg. The beautiful surrounding area features an abundance of canoe routes, fishing spots and in the winter cross-country ski trails.

- Bachelor of Education Degree and Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- Fluency in the Ojibwe language both written and oral
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture, history, and the Truth and Reconciliation calls to action
- Previous teaching experience
- Familiarity with the Kindergarten to Grade 12 Aboriginal Languages and Culture: Manitoba Curriculum Framework of Outcomes
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
