Position Overview Tulane Academic Hospitalists provide compassionate, evidence based inpatient care while working closely with residents, medical students, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams. What You’ll Do Provide high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care for hospitalized adult patients. Teach and supervise Internal Medicine residents and medical students on inpatient services. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical operations, and transitions-of-care initiatives. Engage in educational conferences, faculty development, and departmental activities. Explore academic interests in medical education, research, quality improvement, clinical leadership, or program development. Contribute to the continued growth of the Division of General Internal Medicine & Hospital Medicine. What We’re Looking For MD or DO degree, or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program by the anticipated start date. Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine. Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Louisiana. Interest in teaching residents and medical students. Commitment to excellent patient care, teamwork, and professional growth.
