THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

Operational Communication & Control is looking for 2 x Developers based out of Bradford.

An exciting opportunity for two colleagues to try something different and join the Operational Communications & Control Team for 9 months, supporting delivery of all communications needed for the TSB migration.

You will work with multiple Process Owners, Product Owners, Project Managers as an integral part of the Change team, to deliver new customer communications and changes to existing communications utilising SanUK’s strategic operational communication tool Quadient Inspire. CCM currently sends out 96% of all SanUK’s operational communications and we continue to migrate from obsolescent platforms onto our strategic CCM system (training will be given on systems; Quadient Inspire Interactive, JIRA and Confluence). With growth comes an exciting opportunity to make our customers better happen by having a keen eye for detail and considering the customer impact of the communication being delivered.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Complete training to enable you to create communications for emails, print, SMS, 2 way SMS and push notifications to customer’s with 100% accuracy in both testing and live environments

  • Manage and prioritise your own workloads working to tight timescales and take a flexible approach to ensure all communications you commit to are delivered within expectations

  • Holding knowledgeable discussions with internal customers and understanding their external customer journey, ensuring all communication content is fit for purpose

  • Maintain governance for all new builds and changes that you manage

  • Raising incidents and supporting with root cause analysis by working with stakeholders across CCM domain and wider Santander to create preventative measures to ensure reduction of future incidents

  • Share best practices and new ideas to contribute to the continued growth and success of the department and Santander

  • Flexible working arrangements may be required to work across different Santander sites.

  • Complete intraday & daily reconciliations for communications sent via CCM to ensure all are delivered within expectations.

Professional Experience

  • Managing expectations with multiple stakeholders (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of Essential/Operational Customer Communications process – creating content, change Process, system update, Adobe WorkFront/DAM, or fulfilment in industry. (Preferred)

Hard Skills

  • MS office in particular Excel (Required)

  • Awareness of WorkFront & AssetBank processes (Preferred)

  • Use of systems – Quadient Inspire Interactive, WorkFront, DAM, JIRA, Confluence, RLSE IT process (SNOW) – if not training will be given (Preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Work well in a team, contributing and supporting (Required)

  • Attention to detail (Required)

  • Think Customer (Preferred)

  • Planning skills with the ability to work proactively and prioritise (Required)

  • Be proactive in identifying ways to improve processes/customer journey’s digitally (Preferred)

Salary Range:


£35,452.00 - £53,178.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
