We're hiring — Operations & Chartering Associate (Dubai, on-site) ⚓

Basrah Energy FZE is a fast-growing oil & gas trading company based in Dubai. In a short time we've become a reliable supplier of base oil, fuel oil, condensate, bitumen, naphtha, and LPG across the UAE and international markets, with a strong commitment to social responsibility and environmental protection. We're looking for someone to help keep our trading operations running smoothly.

The role:

You'll support day-to-day trading operations — coordinating vessel chartering, monitoring shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of product. You'll work closely with internal teams, shipping partners, and customers to manage documentation, track schedules, prepare operational reports, support compliance and contract execution, and help improve the way we work.

What we're looking for:

Strong operations skills — shipping coordination, documentation, and follow-through
Clear, professional communication and confident stakeholder management
Analytical mindset to read operational data and solve problems practically
A customer-first approach to handling inquiries and building relationships
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, maritime studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years in shipping, chartering, logistics, or oil & gas operations preferred

Nice to have: MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP/trading systems; working knowledge of international trade terms, contracts, and compliance standards.
