We’re hiring an Operations Leader (Production Supervisor) to drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations in Vandergrift, PA. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll lead teams, optimize PLC systems , and implement Lean manufacturing strategies that directly impact output and cost performance. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity KPIs Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce downtime and increase throughput Supervise and mentor teams, improving engagement, training, and performance outcomes Optimize and troubleshoot PLC systems, electrical systems, and production equipment Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency Implement preventive maintenance strategies to improve uptime and reduce failures Analyze production data to uncover cost-saving and efficiency opportunities What We're Looking For (Qualifications) Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical field OR 4+ years in manufacturing leadership Strong experience in industrial manufacturing environments (steel, metals, chemicals) Hands-on expertise with PLC systems, motor controls, and power distribution Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints Proven team leadership and communication skills Proficiency in Excel and production management systems Preferred: Experience in heavy industrial or process manufacturing Knowledge of annealing, pickling, or similar processes Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks Exposure to automation or smart manufacturing systems Nice-to-Haves Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or Industrial Engineering Experience with data-driven manufacturing or AI-based optimization tools Background in scaling high-performance production teams Compensation & Perks $80,000 – $90,000 base salary (DOE) Full health, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off + holidays Relocation assistance for qualified candidates Overtime & shift premium opportunities Career growth in advanced manufacturing & leadership roles Our Culture & Location At GlobiFYE, we foster a high-performance, inclusive, and innovation-driven culture .
