Operations Manager, GTM

This role is the engine room of Reactor's go-to-market. You will be one of the first GTM hires, working directly with the Head of GTM to turn our events, dinners, hackathons, and conference activations from ideas into running machines, across both the model marketplace and our infra product. You will be the person who makes things happen. The one who books the truck that parks outside YC on day one of the batch, negotiates the venue at midnight before a hackathon, gets 12 founders to an intimate dinner with zero no-shows, and walks out of every event with the conversion list already updated. Key Responsibilities Events end to end: Own every Reactor event (hackathons, founder dinners, conference activations) from concept through logistics through follow-up. Venues, vendors, budgets, invites, staffing, and the debrief. Conference activations: Every big conference we attend gets an activation nobody else would try. You make the unconventional executable: permits, hardware, staffing, timing. The conversion list: Every event exists to convert named companies. You own the list per event, track who came, who converted, and report against it. Batch-cycle operations: Run the operational rhythm around accelerator batches: day-one presence, credits distribution, office hours scheduling, dinner sequencing. Ecosystem partnerships: Manage the logistics of our relationships with accelerators, university labs, and community organizers so every partnership has a working cadence, not just a handshake. Budget and vendor management: Own the events budget line, negotiate with vendors, and make every dollar traceable to pipeline. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You have 2+ years in event operations, field marketing, or ecosystem/community operations at a fast-moving technology company. You are organized. Nothing falls through the cracks: not the AV setup, not the dietary restrictions, not the follow-up email 12 hours after the event. You think in conversion, not attendance. A packed room that converts nobody is a failure and you treat it as one. You are comfortable being measured. Our bar: 1 hackathon and 2 dinners a month, each hitting its conversion list. You negotiate well and move fast. Venues, sponsors, vendors, permits: you get to yes cheaply and quickly. You thrive in ambiguity and speed. We are early-stage and moving fast.
